Delete your Thicket account

You can delete your account yourself from any Thicket app. If you cannot sign in, ask us below and we will do it for you.

Delete it yourself

1. Sign in, then open Me. On the web that is your name in the top-right corner; in the iPhone, iPad and Android apps it is the Me tab.
2. Choose Delete my account.
3. Confirm with your password. Accounts that sign in with Google or Apple confirm with a recent sign-in instead.

If you are the only owner of an organization, Thicket asks you to make someone else an owner first, or to close that organization. Both are offered on the same screen.

What deletion does

• Your sign-in account is deleted right away, across every organization you belong to, and you are signed out everywhere. Your email address, password, two-factor setup and notification devices go with it.
• Messages, comments, to-dos, documents and files you contributed to shared projects stay with those teams, shown under your name, the same way they do when someone leaves an organization. They belong to the organization's work, not to the account.
• An organization you close is deleted with everything in it.
• Security and audit records that reference the account, such as API and integration access logs, are kept for up to 180 days and then removed.

Ask us to delete it

If you can no longer sign in, send this request from the email address on the account. We confirm it is yours, delete the account, and reply when it is done, normally within a few business days.
