Planning and playing a band's tour

A band on tour plays a new room every night, and each show's load-in, sound, lodging and pay must be agreed ahead. Here the tour is one project: every show on a board, the dates on a calendar, road and merch photos, and four to-do lists.

The Maritimes and Quebec Tour project in Thicket over a photograph of a coastal highway at dusk: the health flag reading On track, the tour's dates and six people, then six cards: the Message Board with the sold-out Summerside show on top, Tour dates with the remaining shows marked on the month, On the road as nine photographs of the band, its van and its shows, the Show advance board with cards in Waiting on venue, Advanced and Day sheet out, To-dos with four lists on the progress chart, and Merch table as nine photographs of the band's shirts, totes, mugs and records.

North End Brass and its tour manager post road news on the Message Board and keep the coming shows on the Calendar. Photos from the road and the merch table sit in two Docs & Files grids, each show moves across Boards until it is played and settled, and four lists in To-dos cover the van, the merch, the school workshops and the hometown show.
