Building and renovation

Building a new wing onto a working hospital

A hospital wing is built beside patients, so each shutdown and noisy job has to be planned around them. Here a new emergency wing is one project: four lists on the progress chart, site and drone photos, the inspection calendar and a weekly check-in.

The Emergency Department Wing project in Thicket over a photograph of open prairie at sunrise: the health flag reading On track, the build's dates and seven people, then six cards: the Message Board with the night tie-in plan on top, To-dos with four lists on the progress chart, Inside the wing as nine photographs of the rooms under construction, the Site calendar with the generator delivery next, Drone flight as nine aerial photographs of the hospital and its new wing, and the Work near the ER check-in with this week's answers, with two external links below.

Hallett Memorial Hospital's building team posts each delivery, change and fix on the Message Board and splits the wing into four lists in To-dos, each a dot on the progress chart. Photos from inside the wing and from a drone flight sit in two Docs & Files grids, the Calendar holds the generator, the night tie-in and the inspections, and every week the team says in Check-ins what work could disturb the ER.
