Moving a warehouse onto new software
A warehouse has to keep shipping while each shift learns new handhelds, labels and screens, one area at a time. Here the rollout is one project: the cutover checklists, each area's progress on a board, the vendor's mail, floor photos and the supervisors' end-of-shift answers.
Smoky Hill Grocers moves each area of its two warehouses through data load, testing and training on Boards. The cutover plan, the vendor's mail and photos from Salina's go-live are in Docs & Files, the carries each site's numbers, To-dos hold the cutover and training lists, and the Calendar has the Wi-Fi retest and the go-live. The floor team talks in Chat, and supervisors answer one question in Check-ins at the end of every shift.
