Getting a new air route ready for its first flight

A new air route opens on a fixed date, and the station, the staff and the aircraft must be ready before the first passenger boards. Here the route is one project: station equipment on a board, terminal and test flight photos, the schedule and the staff's weekly check-ins.

The Quill and Sorrel Island Route project in Thicket over a photograph of a calm harbor at early morning with low spruce islands on the horizon: the health flag reading On track, the route dates and six people, then nine cards: the Message Board with the late Sorrel float on top, To-dos with three lists on the progress chart, the Three docks board with cards in Ordered, Building, Inspecting and Done, Float terminal as nine photographs of the new floating terminal, Island test flights as nine photographs of the floatplane at the islands, the Dock talk chat, Check-ins with the station staff's answers, the Calendar with the scale certification and the harbor master's walk-through, and Route papers with the Sorrel float drawings, the timetable and the weighing guide, then External links to the station procedures, seat sales and the timetable designs.

Kittiwake Air tracks the equipment for its three docks on Boards and keeps photos of its new float terminal and its island test flights in Docs & Files, beside the landing notes and the timetable. The Message Board carries the schedule, the fares and the late float, To-dos hold the terminal, island and fleet lists, and the station staff answer a weekly question in Check-ins. Pilots and agents talk through each morning in Chat, and the dress rehearsal and the first flight are on the Calendar.
