Surveying whales from a small research boat
A survey at sea depends on the weather and the boat, and each day on the water brings back hundreds of photos to sort. This project holds the survey log, each day's fluke photos on a board, photos from the boat, four to-do lists and the calendar.
Kupreanof Whale Research posts the survey plan, its best encounters and the engine news on a called Survey log, and moves each day's fluke photos from sorting to matched on Boards. Fluke photos and pictures from the boat sit in two Docs & Files grids, To-dos splits the boat, photo-ID, drone flights and permits into four lists on the progress chart, and the Calendar holds the part's arrival on the ferry, the sea trial and the last survey day.
