Getting a small satellite ready to launch
A small satellite has to pass its tests, get its radio license and reach the launch provider by a fixed date. This project holds the test campaign on a board, clean room and field photos, four to-do lists, the provider's letters and a weekly check-in.
The Small Satellite Lab at Loess Hills State University moves each test of Loess-1 from planned to done on Boards, keeps the flight unit, the ground station, the licenses and shipping as four lists in To-dos and posts each result on the . Photos of the satellite in the clean room and of the soil moisture stations on six farms sit in two Docs & Files grids, beside a third that holds the launch provider's letters and forms. The morning's test readings go in Chat, the Calendar holds the antenna retest, the fit check and ship day, and Check-ins asks everyone each week what they finished.
