What Are Grove Boards?
Grove Boards are kanban-style boards that let you visualize work as cards moving through columns. They're perfect for tracking workflow stages like "To Do", "In Progress", and "Done".
Creating a Grove Board
Grove Boards are a tool within projects:
- Open a project that has Grove Board enabled
- Click on the Grove Board tab
- Your board starts with default columns that you can customize
Working with Columns
- Add a column — click the "+" button to add a new column
- Rename a column — click the column header to edit the name
- Reorder columns — drag and drop columns to rearrange them
- Delete a column — remove empty columns from the column menu
Creating Cards
- Click Add Card at the bottom of any column
- Enter a title for the card
- Optionally add a description, assignee, and due date
- The card appears in the column
Moving Cards
- Drag and drop — move cards between columns by dragging them
- Card menu — use the card's context menu to move it to a specific column
Card Details
Click on any card to see its full details:
- Title and description — rich text content
- Assignee — who's responsible
- Due date — when it's due
- Comments — discuss the card with your team
- Activity — see the card's history
