What Are Grove Boards?

Grove Boards are kanban-style boards that let you visualize work as cards moving through columns. They're perfect for tracking workflow stages like "To Do", "In Progress", and "Done".

Creating a Grove Board

Grove Boards are a tool within projects:

  1. Open a project that has Grove Board enabled
  2. Click on the Grove Board tab
  3. Your board starts with default columns that you can customize

Working with Columns

  • Add a column — click the "+" button to add a new column
  • Rename a column — click the column header to edit the name
  • Reorder columns — drag and drop columns to rearrange them
  • Delete a column — remove empty columns from the column menu

Creating Cards

  1. Click Add Card at the bottom of any column
  2. Enter a title for the card
  3. Optionally add a description, assignee, and due date
  4. The card appears in the column

Moving Cards

  • Drag and drop — move cards between columns by dragging them
  • Card menu — use the card's context menu to move it to a specific column

Card Details

Click on any card to see its full details:

  • Title and description — rich text content
  • Assignee — who's responsible
  • Due date — when it's due
  • Comments — discuss the card with your team
  • Activity — see the card's history
