Schedule and Events

Create events, set up recurring schedules, and subscribe from your own calendar.

What Is the Calendar?

Each project has a shared calendar for tracking events, milestones, deadlines, and meetings — and Thicket also gives you a combined calendar view across every project you're part of.

Creating an Event

  1. Open a project with the Calendar enabled
  2. Click New Event or click on a date in the calendar
  3. Fill in the event details:
    • Title — what the event is
    • Date and time — when it happens
    • All day — toggle for full-day events
    • Notes — additional details
  4. Click Save

Recurring Events

Events can repeat daily, weekly, or monthly — or on a custom schedule (for example, every other Tuesday and Thursday). Editing a recurring event updates the series.

Reminders

Thicket reminds you before events you're part of: the day before, an hour before, and shortly before a timed event starts. All-day events get a morning-of reminder. You control whether reminder emails are sent in your notification settings.

Your Personal Views

  • My events — everything coming up for you over the next seven days
  • Do today — today's events alongside the tasks due today

Subscribe from Your Own Calendar

Generate an iCal feed and subscribe from Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or any calendar app that supports iCal. Feeds can cover a single project or everything, and can include your due tasks. You can revoke a feed at any time.

Key Dates and Milestones

Use events to mark important milestones:

  • Project deadlines
  • Launch dates
  • Review meetings

All events are visible to project members and help keep everyone aligned on the timeline.
