Working with Projects
Create projects, configure tools, and manage project members.
What Are Projects?
Projects in Thicket are containers for your work. Each project can have its own set of tools enabled — messages, to-dos, documents, schedule, grove board, and chat.
Creating a Project
- Navigate to Projects in the sidebar
- Click New Project
- Fill in the project details:
- Name — a clear, descriptive name
- Description — what this project is about
- Tools — choose which tools to enable
- Click Create Project
Configuring Project Tools
Each project can have different tools enabled. Go to the project settings to toggle:
- Messages — team discussions and announcements
- To-Do Lists — task management with assignments and due dates
- Documents — shared docs and knowledge base
- Schedule — events and calendar
- Grove Board — kanban-style workflow board
- Chat — real-time group messaging
Managing Project Members
By default, all organization members can access all projects. To manage access:
- Open the project
- Go to project settings
- Add or remove members as needed
Archiving and Deleting Projects
- Archive — hides the project from the sidebar but preserves all data
- Delete — permanently removes the project and all its content (owner only)
Archived projects can be restored at any time from Settings > Trash.
