Getting Started with Thicket

Set up your account, create your first project, and invite your team.

Welcome to Thicket

Thicket is a simple project management platform for teams who want to get organized without the complexity. One flat price, unlimited users.

Creating Your Account

  1. Visit thickethq.com/signup and enter your name, email, and password
  2. Verify your email address by clicking the link in your inbox
  3. You'll be taken to your new organization dashboard

You can also sign up with Google or Microsoft SSO for faster onboarding.

Setting Up Your Organization

When you first sign up, Thicket creates an organization for you automatically. You can customize it in Settings > General:

  • Organization name — your company or team name
  • Slug — the URL identifier for your workspace (e.g., thickethq.com/o/your-team)
  • Logo — upload your company logo

Creating Your First Project

  1. Click Projects in the sidebar
  2. Click New Project
  3. Give your project a name and description
  4. Choose which tools to enable (Messages, To-Dos, Docs, Schedule, Grove Board, Chat)
  5. Click Create Project

Inviting Your Team

  1. Go to Settings > Members
  2. Click Invite Member
  3. Enter their email address and choose a role (Admin, Member, or Client)
  4. They'll receive an email invitation to join your organization

There are no per-user fees — invite as many people as you need.

Navigating the App

  • Sidebar — access all your projects, tools, and settings
  • Home — your dashboard with recent activity and quick actions
  • Find — search across all projects and content
  • Notifications — stay updated on mentions and assignments
  • My Stuff — view your assignments, activity, bookmarks, and drafts
