Getting Started with Thicket

Set up your account, create your first project, and invite your team.

Welcome to Thicket

Thicket is a simple project management platform for teams who want to get organized without the complexity. Pro uses flat pricing with no per-user fees.

Creating Your Account

  1. Visit thickethq.com/signup and enter your name, email, and password
  2. Verify your email address by clicking the link in your inbox
  3. You'll be taken to your new organization dashboard

You can also sign up with Google for faster onboarding.

Setting Up Your Organization

When you first sign up, Thicket creates an organization for you automatically. You can customize it in Adminland:

  • Organization name — your company or team name
  • Slug — the URL identifier for your workspace (e.g., thickethq.com/o/your-team)

Creating Your First Project

  1. Click New Project on your home screen
  2. Give your project a name and description
  3. Choose which tools to enable (Message Board, To-Dos, Docs & Files, Calendar, Boards, Chat)
  4. Click Create Project

Inviting Your Team

  1. Go to People
  2. Click Invite
  3. Enter their email address and choose a role (Admin, Member, or Client)
  4. They'll receive an email invitation to join your organization

There are no per-user seat fees. Free supports up to 5 team members and 3 guests, and Pro removes those limits — Pro is $49/month, or $39/month billed annually.

Navigating the App

  • Home — your dashboard with your projects and recent activity
  • Search — find anything across all projects, with filters
  • Notifications — stay updated on mentions, assignments, and replies
  • My assignments, bookmarks, and drafts — your personal views across every project
